“Norwich are a team that tries to play out from the back and they dare to play that way. They have personality. I like the way they try to play, obviously they are not getting results because this is the Premier League but if you don’t have a good day they can play, have the possession and they can create chances like the one they had in the first half that David (De Gea) made a great save from."

“What we tried to do was get the ball as soon as possible and control the game and to create chances,"

"We did that from the first minute. There were four or five minutes at the end of the first half when we lost our concentration a little bit but, overall, it was a very good half and one of the best of the season. It was a complete performance and we need to keep that going and relax in every game."

Ole says Victor Lindelof has a small back problem

Dear Reds, we need your help - https://fundrazr.com/RedNewsSupport

If you think what we do is important, then a subscription right now is a game changer for our future as an independent fanzine in the year ahead. No football = no games to sell at. We need your support now more than ever. We believe the terraces of Old Trafford and its culture is a little bit stronger when Red News is around, and that our fanzine still provides a strong voice, and a different take on supporting MUFC that is worth keeping.

So on our 33rd anniversary we are opening up our new advanced annual subscription campaign because without your subscriptions, we will not be able to continue, nor be around in 2021. With your support, we will. We pride ourselves on still being a voice for normal Reds just like you. For giving space for reasoned, well thought out opinion, and for the type of exclusives and gossip you know us well for. And to praise, or hold the club to account, where it is appropriate. To shine a light where it is needed. A different type of fanzine. But one that still holds the same principles as when we first started in April 1987.

We have weathered many storms, including a decline in matchday sales, and all the changes, both good or bad, at Old Trafford in our time, but events right now out of our control are different... We only survive because of our readers. Without advertising, you keep us alive.

If games are behind closed doors, we will still publish. We WILL still publish. If needs be we will make certain mags double issues every second month like our one will be in May 2020.

The target this summer is 333 Reds.

      Thank you - https://fundrazr.com/RedNewsSupport

      “Victor felt his back,”

“So there was no need to take any risks, but Eric's fine. He's got his game, 45 minutes, played against Norwich, played against West Brom [in a friendly at Old Trafford before the Premier League's resumption], so he'll be fine playing.”...

"It’s Aston Villa next and that’s quite a few days of recovery, so that’ll suit us well. It’s not until Thursday, but, after that, it is tight. We’ll use this time well for training and recover and we’ll be ready for the run-in.”

“It's exciting. Great attacking football, some fantastic goals. It's too bad our fans couldn't be here and spur us on because you can see the energy in the team, you can see the atmosphere within the team, but, if that crowd is here, that lifts you even more. That’s a game for the fans, that’s one the Stretford End would have enjoyed. It could have been six or seven or eight then, so, of course, it's a strange feeling playing in front of no-one, but I think the team is doing exceptional. I think they're doing whatever they can to create that atmosphere themselves.”

“Yeah, he’s a fantastic goalscorer and the moments he chose the goals for us today were very important moments, especially the second one. You know he has a left foot to come inside but I think defenders will have to think about the outside because he can score with his right foot too. He’s a very talented boy and we’ll just nurture him as well as we can, and give him more and more minutes.”

“Well, we didn't come straight back, but there was no panic. We just have to play and play, and trust the way that they have performed and played lately. I think it's been very exciting to watch the front players of course, but they get delivery from behind. They get passes, assists, they get balls to work with and we'll keep on working, keep trying to improve for next time.”

“Well we know that they [Rashford, Martial and Greenwood] can score goals, we know that they've got pace, energy, they're youthful, they'll learn, they'll improve and, of course, with the players that we have that can provide the passes with Paul [Pogba] and Bruno [Fernandes], and the creativity that we've got in the team now is exciting. They are working towards one common goal and we are trying to get as high as possible in the table. That’s one of the positive things about those forwards, they’re good friends and they keep challenging each other.”
