Media reporting on the 2 game ban for Jones and the fine for Blind say that it was caused by the squad photo with a banner reading 'Manchester - a city united' - in tribute to those affected by the Manchester Arena attack.

Jones not allowed to delay his random test - even under supervision - to take part. It's a UEFA rule. He apparently told the officials what he thought of the rule - quite forcibly, which is why he has been banned.

Meanwhile Daley Blind didn't know about the rule, so went and joined up with the squad for the photo before going to doping control. (he should have gone straight to doping control) He gets a fine for that.

Both Blind and Jones did get their tests done so no suggestion there is anything dodgy going on
