De Gea is also beginning to close in on the records of some of the league’s greatest goalkeepers when you consider that at just 27, De Gea has already kept 90 Premier League clean sheets – only 39 behind Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel and more than any other goalkeeper in the same timeframe. Moreover, no Premier League goalkeeper beats De Gea's minutes per goals conceded since his debut for the Red Devils.
