"I think they're both different roles, when I took over Manchester United were champions with maybe some older players. I think Arsenal are not champions and I think that they've not got that many old players, they've got a young team so maybe not quite as big expectations at Arsenal as there were at Manchester United.
"I do think whoever gets the opportunity they should take it with both hands, it's a great chance, great club, I'm sure there’ll be many, many elite managers keen to choose this elite club.
"From a distance I look at Arsenal and think they've got a great academy. I always liked Arsenal when George Graham was manager, a Scottish manager and I was still relatively young and I liked him because it always used to be one nil to the Arsenal and how good the were defensively.
"I don't think there's many managers that can completely change a club and I think you have to say Arsene Wenger has completely changed the club in his time."
