“All Premier League fixtures from Saturday 30 January to the last weekend of February will be made available to fans to watch live in the UK.

“Matches will continue to be shown via the existing services of broadcast partners Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime Video and BBC.

“Details of all contracted broadcast selections will be announced today [Wednesday], along with early additional selections. Confirmation of the remaining fixtures, up to match round 26, will follow in due course.

“The Premier League and its clubs are committed to an accessible solution for fans. These plans have been made with the co-operation of our broadcast partners, working with us to deliver these additional matches while stadiums are missing the supporters who are such an integral part of the game.”

“Premier League Shareholders today formally agreed to introduce the International Football Board's additional permanent concussion substitutions trial. The trial will be confirmed when the implementation of the reporting processes, including private medical information, has been resolved with IFAB and FIFA.

“With player welfare the Premier League’s priority, the protocols will allow a maximum of two concussion substitutes to be used per team, with the opposition side able to use the equivalent number. The additional concussion substitutions may be made regardless of the number of substitutions a team has made already.

“The trial is a result of the IFAB’s consultation with stakeholders and recommendations from their concussion expert group to allow additional substitutions for players with actual or suspected concussion.”

“Luke has immense quality,”

“He has a very good technique, good quality. You see against Liverpool, he takes the ball and drives forward, that is something that I have pushed him more to do because we know he can do it.

“It is generally down to the boy himself, mentally he is very good at the moment, he has become a dad. He is physically very good, his fitness is so much better and he keeps beating his high-intensity stats and his total distance stats. He has been consistently up there with what a full-back should be doing.

“When you have the talent of Luke, when that fitness and the mental bit is sorted then you are always going to get good performances.”

“It is about seeing everyone as individuals and human beings,”

“I did spend a lot of time talking to the individuals and Luke as well. He is a boy I enjoy talking to and I enjoy trying to help him, he wants to be better.

“It was about getting him enjoying his football, we know his talent, trusting his fitness injury-wise, having players who can back him up so he knows he is not going to play every single game, so he can play fully fit. I think both Brandon [Williams] and Alex coming in has given him a little bit of a push to tell me anyway that I’ve got good options.”

“Obviously, the last 10-15 minutes we had to dig in and we defended well, [and] defended the box well. Obviously, they had the chance where it hits Eric [Bailly] and goes just past the post, thankfully. But for sure, we deserved the three points.

“We started the game sloppy but the reaction was brilliant. We've got to start the game better, we’ll look to get better, but the reaction was brilliant. We put them under a lot of pressure and it felt like a goal was coming. We felt like we deserved the three points.”

“We do believe that we can get three points from any position. The first five minutes, we didn’t start well enough. It’s a poor goal to concede, it’s something we’ve worked on, as a back line we were all over the place. It’s unlike us and what we’ve been in recent weeks, so it’s something we need to work on. We’ll look at it, we’ll speak about it and we’ll improve, but the main part was the reaction.

“The reaction from the lads, to put pressure on, to go after them, not feeling sorry for ourselves and [to] get that equaliser. We managed to do that, deservedly. We started the second half so much better than we did in the first and I felt it was a matter of time until we scored that goal. Like you say, the last 10-15 minutes, were a bit nervy. The boys managed to see it out very well.”

“We speak about the improvement. Two years ago, you wouldn’t say that we would challenge at the top of the table, for sure. We as players believe that we can; we expect that we can. This club expects to be challenging for the best trophies. It’s all about improvement, it’s all about improving each game, each training session. We need to improve on things. For sure, tonight, again, we can improve.

“It’s always going to be talked about when we’re halfway through and you’re top of the league, but we’re not really thinking about this. We’ve just got to go one game at a time and keep everyone healthy and fresh and see where we are. “I think we started slow and after their goal I felt we did well. That was what we needed; we needed to wake up. I don’t think we had shaken off the game on Sunday, but after that we did really well, we scored. Poor again [after that], trying to be too direct and to go in behind and the Hollywood passes, then a fantastic goal by Paul and we had some great chances in the second half to finish the game. When it’s only one goal, with the players they’ve put on, it’s always going to be like heart in your mouth.”

“Oh, they're massive [three points], they are. You know, when you count the points at the end of the season, you look back and say that was a tight game and this was a tight game. It gives so much confidence and a morale boost as well to get three points instead of a draw. Easily towards the end it could have been [a draw], because they've created chances, David [De Gea]’s made a fantastic save with his feet but we should have finished the game off before then.”
